"Analog, Epilogue : Kumho-dong 1995” is a raw, monochromatic photographic series that records the early independent archive of Seoul's redevelopment zones. Three decades ago, the desolate ruins and fractured horizons of Kumho-dong were captured on analog film. Over the past thirty years, the original silver gelatin prints have undergone natural chemical discoloration and oxidation, adding unique golden-orange textures and organic aging stains to the frames.
Recently remastered through precision digital imaging, this series serves as a literal and metaphorical epilogue to the silver halide era, reinterpreting analog remnants through contemporary digital light. By preserving the physical and temporal scars of both the paper and the space, this foundational archive establishes a definitive 30-year lineage in the artist's lifelong commitment to documenting urban transformation and spatial memory.
